For BMW / MINI F-series, ELV on LIN network:

· F2x, F3x etc: FEM,
· F15, F16, F4x, F5x etc: BDC.

Programming is not necessary, emulator is Plug & Play.

• No coding needed, it becomes active without the necessity for extra hardware or installation.
• It can perform many operations like locking and unlocking by accessing the Cas ELV module.

F-SERIES FEM / BDC Steering Lock Emulator General Instructions:

• Confirm steering wheel is unlocked and the vehicle is running
• Remove 4-wire konnector from the steering wheel column
• Find “cable 1” from the harness connector or steering column connector.
• In some cases you must clear automobile access system codes errors/memory and counters with diagnostic tool that must be installed by a knowledgeable ase mechanic and troubled codes must be reset with a special tool.
• In most cases, this emulator will fix your problem as long as you’ve got your ELV diagnosed faulty, it’s designed to emulate a working steering lock.
